Privacy Policy

1. Zero Customer Account Mandate

WaitLink is designed from the ground up to protect customer privacy. Walk-in customers checking into a line are never required to create an account, enter passwords, or provide phone numbers/emails unless explicitly chosen by the business owner.

2. Information We Collect

For Shop Owners: When you set up a shop account, we store your email address, business name, custom URL slug, and optional shop logo in encrypted Google Cloud Firestore.

For Customers: We store transient check-in names or initials (e.g. "Marcus S.") for the duration of the visit queue. History records are purged automatically based on retention settings.

3. Data Security & Encryption

All data transmitted between browsers, front desk tablets, and Google Cloud Firestore is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 and encrypted at rest with AES-256 standards.
